Simone Wallace, co-owner and co-founder of Sisterhood Bookstore, currently lives in Venice and works for LAUSD as an Adult ESL Educator. Adele Wallace co-founder and co-owner of Sisterhood Bookstore, worked there until its closing in 1999. That same year, she earned her Masters of Library and Information Science and is now working as an Adult Librarian for the City of Los Angeles. |

Emily
Gold, daughter of Simone, literally
grew up in Sisterhood Bookstore. She currently lives in Westwood,
and has worked as Field Representative for State Senator Sheila
Keuhl since 1998. |

Irene Wolt has published numerous articles on local and women's issues, is the co-author of a book on Los Angeles history and is a Research Scholar with UCLA's Center for the Study of Women. She is presently a Web-designer and the Alternate Media Specialist at Santa Monica College. |

Ronni Sanlo is the director of the UCLA Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center and author of numerous articles and books. |
